Forest Hills Stadium
An Iconic American Venue Revived
In the 1960’s, Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York hosted a series of iconic artists, including The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Diana Ross, and The Who.
After the venue fell into disrepair, Mike Luba, Co-President of Madison House Presents, undertook its rehabilitation. This multi-million dollar project included a full structural and cosmetic overhaul of the stadium bowl. In August 2013, the Stadium reopened with a sold out performance by Mumford & Sons. The 2014 summer season featured the Zac Brown Band, Modest Mouse & Brand New, Drake vs. Lil Wayne, The Replacements, and Phil Lesh & Friends.
2015 continued the strong legacy with a calendar featuring Ed Sheeran, The Who Hits 50!, Van Morrison with Taj Mahal, D’Angelo with Gary Clark Jr., James Taylor, Santana, Alabama Shakes with Drive By Truckers, and The New York Pops.
